Annual Trips
Return to the Wild will occur annually, giving you the opportunity to return again and again. Running in tandem with Marina Edits’ Industry retreats (coming 2026!)
Local & International
With domestic trips in Canada & the US, as well as international trips, there’s a retreat for everyone. And Return to the Wild aims to be as affordable and sustainable as possible.
Give back to Nature
Starting 2026, every Return to the Wild Writing Retreat will give back to the land. Depending on our location, trees will be planted, donations will be made, or we’ll engage in a clean-up event.
Story Critiques
At each retreat, writers will have the opportunity to have their first chapters critiqued by their peers, two acclaimed or bestelling authors, and Marina, a Big 5 Editor.
